Kuña++ is a vibrant community of women in the technology field, whose purpose is to promote and empower women in technology. They offer an inclusive and enriching space where all women can share their knowledge, experiences, and ambitions in the technology field. To achieve this, they organize workshops, talks, and events that address relevant and up-to-date topics, providing valuable information about the different professional options available.
Since August 19, 2019, Kuña++ has been working as a community of women in technology in the city of Encarnación, Paraguay, being a very positive force to promote inclusion, empowerment, and advancement of women in technology-related fields.
We believe that communities like this can provide a safe space for women to share knowledge, experiences, and opportunities in the field of technology. That is why we decided to form Kuña++.
The name "Kuña++" was chosen, as it refers to the female gender with the word "Kuña" (which means woman in Guarani, the official language of Paraguay) and uses the symbol "++" which in many programming languages represents the increment of a variable by one unit. This is interpreted as a desire to promote the growth and evolution of women in the technological field.
