We are the platform that connects the Latin tech community. We unite people working in the Latin tech industry with each other, with companies and with tech communities.
Uniting and empowering the Latin American tech community. What drives us is being an important player in the development and growth of the Latin American tech community.
The main problem we work with is the disconnection that the industry has. TRIBU seeks to connect and unite people, whether through networking activities, mentoring, DOMOS and even training. Our focus is on building bridges for all those who make up the Latin tech industry.
To all the people who are part of the Latin tech industry: Devs, DevOps, UX/UI, Product Owners, Project Managers, Data Analyst, Tech Leads, CTOs, ... At our beginnings in March 2022 we started only aimed at devs, but over time we realized that our solution is of interest and support to everyone in the industry, and that the vast majority of the topics we address are cross-functional to all technical verticals.
For different reasons, but basically they come together because they have free access to online and in-person networking activities throughout LATAM, training in technical and non-technical subjects, a Benefits program with very useful discounts, a Mentor program where we connect people willing to help with others who need help, job opportunities and to be part of the community. TRIBU accompanies people in the industry in their personal and professional development.
It is free for individuals. Those who pay to be part of TRIBU are the companies, which allow us to function with our executive team.
TRIBU charges companies for two solutions: Talent: providing access to a marketplace featuring members of the TRIBU who are interested in receiving job opportunities. Branding: offering the possibility to sponsor activities we organize, both in-person and online. Additionally, and in parallel, we have the DOMOS, which involve a cost for those who participate, focused on leaders in the tech industry.
All those people who register at www.tribulatam.com. There is no charge. It is free. You must register and you will be part of the TRIBU.
No. Everyone in the Latin tech world is welcome to join the TRIBU. The more diverse our ecosystem is in terms of profiles, the more interesting it will be.
Having an executive team at your service, seeking and proposing solutions that help the development of the Latin tech community. This can range from thinking of training on a certain topic that the TRIBU requests, to looking for a discount on a tech event or a software license, to generating networking dynamics that help the development of the members of the TRIBU.
Like any TRIBU, roles are a key part of its functioning. TRIBU has Speakers, Hosts, Mentors, Techies, and we are always thinking of new roles to create. If you are interested in any of these or want to learn more, you can visit https://roles.tribulatam.com/
We are excited to see that we are a hybrid of different solutions. We are a platform, an ecosystem, a place where we seek to empower three major players in the industry: people + companies + communities. And over time we see the enormous opportunity we have to generate impact with this TRIBU.
To continue growing our impact in Latin America, always listening to the needs of people in the industry and being of maximum use to them. Without people, there is no TRIBU. Our dream is to be of help with what we do for hundreds of thousands of people throughout the continent. Will we achieve it? That is where we are headed.
These are peer-to-peer groups of Latin tech leaders. They are made up of CTOs, Tech Founders, VPs, Managers, CISOs... Let's say people in positions of responsibility within the tech industry. These groups seek to combat the loneliness that these people often find themselves in.
They are thematic groups designed to promote knowledge in specific areas such as Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Software Architecture, among others.
They are the leaders of the DOMOS. They are responsible for guiding the meetings, ensuring they follow a format that provides the maximum value for the members.
They are the leaders of the FOGONES. Experts in the group's topic, they facilitate discussions and share their knowledge to enrich the community.
Our main format for in-person events. These are networking gatherings designed to strengthen the bonds between TRIBU members in different countries.
Our main virtual format. Talks focused on training the TRIBU in both technical and non-technical topics.
Exclusive events for DOMO members. They are held monthly, either online or in person, combining training and networking among tech leaders.
