Role Purpose

• Design and develop the logic and backend systems of the product.
• Collaborate with frontend developers in designing and developing efficient and high-performance APIs.
• Implement unit tests, integration tests, and automated tools to ensure quality.
• Write efficient, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Ensure compliance with security standards (OWASP Top 10).
• Propose improvements to prevent errors and optimize solutions.
• Integrate legacy systems and work with databases.
• Generate technical documentation to facilitate API integration.
• Monitor the efficiency of the developed services and validate business flows.

What are we looking for?

Technical Requirements

• +6 years of experience in backend development.
• Strong experience in Node.js and developing RESTful services.
• +2 years of experience with Java.
• Knowledge of design patterns and clean code principles.
• Experience with Kafka for event streaming.
• Knowledge of GraphQL (desirable).
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis databases (caching, session management, queues, etc).
• Experience with ORM Prisma.
• Ability to write code with quality, security, and readability.
• Experience in agile environments (1-2 years) and direct contact with clients.
• Experience in financial sector projects.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10.
• Experience with Azure Cloud and its services (Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management, AKS, DevOps).
• Experience in integration with databases and legacy systems (plus).

Plus

• Experience with NestJS and TypeScript.
• Knowledge in Kafka and PostgreSQL.
• Experience in agile development (trunk-based development, CI/CD, testing).
• Experience with Azure products (Storage, Queues).
• Experience with tools like Temporal.io.
• Knowledge in observability and monitoring (Datadog, Grafana, Dynatrace).
