About the Position

At Beeyond Media, we are not only transforming the Digital Out of Home (DOOH) industry, but also redefining the paradigm of software engineering. We are not looking for a traditional technical leader who just supervises tasks; we are looking for an Agentic Architect and Team Leader capable of designing ecosystems where AI and human talent converge to deliver highly complex software in record time.

Your role will be that of a Force Multiplier. You will be responsible for defining the technical strategy, orchestrating workflows based on Spec Driven Development (SDD), and guiding a team of engineers to reach their full potential using cutting-edge generative AI tools. You will report to the VP of Engineering with whom you will collaborate closely to transform requirements into technical strategies that the development team will apply.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Leadership and Architecture Strategy

  • Architecture Vision: Define and oversee system architecture using Node.js, Go, PHP, and React, ensuring scalability and resilience.
  • Stack and Workflow Modernization: Lead the constant updating of the technological stack and the evolution of development processes, transforming the current workflow into a high-performance ecosystem that natively integrates AI automation and industry best practices.
  • SDD Standardization: Establish Spec Engineering standards for the entire team, defining how technical documents (Spec.md, JSON) should be structured so that AI can operate with surgical precision.
  • Infrastructure Management (Cloud): Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of infrastructure on AWS and GCP, ensuring Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and optimized CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.

2. Mentorship and Team Management

  • Team Empowerment: Guide developers in transitioning from "manual coding" to "agentic workflow," eliminating bottlenecks and fostering a culture of high efficiency.
  • Code Review & Quality Gate: Act as the final quality filter, not only reviewing syntax but ensuring that the generated code (human + AI) meets security, performance, and Clean Architecture standards (where applicable).
  • Technical Roadmap: Collaborate with Product to translate business vision into achievable technical milestones, prioritizing the strategic migration of legacy systems (PHP/jQuery) to a modern stack.

3. Agentic Workflow Innovation

  • AI Tools R&D: Keep the organization at the forefront by evaluating and implementing new tools (Codex, Claude Code, autonomous agents) to optimize the development lifecycle.
  • High-Impact Refactoring: Oversee the migration of complex business logic from old schemes to native implementations in Go/Node, using AI for logical translation and integrity validation.

Technical Requirements

Core Stack & Seniority

  • Backend Mastery (Go & Node.js): Expert experience in designing robust APIs, handling concurrency (GoRoutines), and scaling Node.js ecosystems.
  • Frontend Architecture (React & TS): Ability to lead modern frontend architectures, prioritizing the use of TypeScript and efficient design systems (Tailwind/Styled Components).
  • Cloud & Infra (AWS/GCP): Solid knowledge of cloud services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, K8s) and management of production environments.
  • Best Practices: Fluency in design patterns, SOLID principles, Testing (Unit/Integration), and cybersecurity.

AI & Spec-First Leadership (Mandatory)

  • SDD Expert: Demonstrable ability to document architectures in a way that AI can execute with minimal intervention. You understand that the quality of the output depends on the quality of the specification.
  • LLMs Orchestration: Advanced experience integrating models like Opus 4.6+, GPT 5.4+, Gemini 3.1+ Pro in professional workflows.
  • Radical Pragmatism: Absolute focus on delivering value. We value the ability to solve complex problems through automation over manual purism.
