Full Stack Next.js Developer

At Darwoft, we are looking to incorporate a Full Stack Developer with solid experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Next.js to work on a technological evolution project that combines the development of new functionalities and the maintenance of modern web applications. This is an initiative with a strong focus on code quality, scalability, and user experience.

About the Project

The project is focused on the development and continuous improvement of already productive digital platforms, including active versions and new stages in evolution. The team works in an agile and collaborative environment, with frequent and high-impact functional deliveries.

• One of the platforms is already in production (version 1.0).

• Versions 1.5 and 2.0 are being developed.

• Another key module of the system is initiating its version 1.0.

• The current team is composed of:

  • 2 Full Stack Developers

  • 1 Tech Lead

  • 2 Data Scientists

  • 1 DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain functionalities in web applications, using JavaScript and Next.js.

• Collaborate with other team members to design technical solutions aligned with business requirements.

• Translate functional needs into scalable technical implementations.

• Ensure code quality, maintaining standards of maintainability and performance.

• Participate in team meetings and communicate progress clearly, even to non-technical profiles.

• Implement and consume RESTful APIs.

• Perform complex queries in relational databases (SQL).

• Collaborate with modern practices of continuous integration and deployment.

Requirements

Mandatory:

• Proven experience as a JavaScript and TypeScript developer.

• Mastery of Next.js and the fundamental principles of modern JavaScript.

• Experience with relational databases (SQL) and handling complex queries.

• Knowledge in HTTP and RESTful APIs.

• Experience using modern frontend build tools and pipelines.

• Proficiency in styles with CSS and Tailwind.

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and teamwork.

• Ability to communicate technical concepts in a simple way.

Desirable:

• Prior experience with cloud services like AWS or Azure.

• Familiarity with DevOps workflows and CI/CD tools.
