Lead DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for a Lead **DevOps Engineer** with strong hands-on experience working with cloud infrastructure in AWS or GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern deployment practices. The ideal candidate has 4–8 years of experience and a strong background working with large-scale, high-availability systems.

You’ll join a team responsible for modernizing and standardizing a large in-production legacy platform used by global organizations. The work includes platform modernization, security improvements, and infrastructure automation.

* Contribute to the transition of a legacy system to a **serverless or modern cloud-native architecture**.

* Architect and implement **automation, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment systems**.


**Security & Monitoring Standardization**

* Support vulnerability management initiatives.

* Help define and implement monitoring standards across the platform.


**Cross-Team Collaboration**

* Work closely with engineering, DevOps, product, and operations teams to ensure smooth transitions during modernization.

* Drive discovery and documentation in environments with limited existing information.


**Problem Solving & Troubleshooting**

* Investigate, diagnose, and resolve technical issues independently.

* Identify opportunities for improvement and proactively address reliability challenges.


**Requeriments**

**Must have**

* **Cloud Platforms:** Proven experience with AWS and/or GCP.

* **Infrastructure:** Strong background with **Kubernetes** and **Docker**.

* **IaC:** Knowledge and hands-on experience with **Terraform** for cloud infrastructure management.

* **Scripting:** General understanding of **Python** or the ability to read and interpret build scripts.

* **Databases:** Experience with **MySQL** or similar relational database engines.

* **Experience in large, production environments** with limited documentation.

* Advanced English Level.


**Nice to have**

* Experience with modern JS development (Node.js / React).

* Experience with Java or Ruby on Rails.

* Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as **AEM** or **Salesforce**.

* Experience with headless CMS tools such as **Contentful** or **Sanity**.

* Knowledge of event-driven architectures using **API Gateway, SQS, Lambda, and DynamoDB**.
