Senior Frontend Engineer

**Location:** Uruguay - Argentina (Buenos Aires) There will be occasional meetings in Uruguay. ASAP is hiring a **Senior Frontend Engineer for a US fintech company p**assionate about building elegant and high-performing user interfaces. You’ll play a key role in shaping user experience and driving frontend architecture as we scale our platform. **What You’ll Do** - Architect and implement scalable, responsive frontend applications. - Work closely with designers and backend engineers to ship new features. - Lead code quality and UI performance improvements. - Troubleshoot and optimize frontend workflows and bottlenecks. - Mentor junior team members and guide frontend best practices. **What We’re Looking For** - 5+ years of experience with React and modern frontend frameworks. - 10+ years in software development with a focus on scalability and usability. - Deep expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript. - Familiarity with backend technologies like Python is a plus. - Strong understanding of REST APIs and integrating with backend systems. - Solid experience with AWS and building cloud-native apps. - Practical knowledge of OAuth and secure user flows. - Experience working with complex third-party APIs. - Creative problem-solver with a user-first mindset. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. - Enthusiastic about using AI to optimize development and enhance UX. --- ###
