Sr Technical Lead

Description: We are seeking an experienced Technical Leader to oversee the architecture, design, and execution of technical solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong backend development background with advanced proficiency in Java and extensive frontend expertise with Next.js. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, and the capability to serve as a technical reference point for the development team and the client.

 Responsibilities: Serve as a reference and source of technical expertise for the team and be the client's primary technical point of contact. Provide hands-on technical assistance for projects, including implementing solutions in key parts of the application. Review the architecture and technology of the project, proposing and executing improvements. Advocate for and implement best practices in the software development life cycle. Explain complex technical topics to non-technical individuals.

Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in backend development with Java, including experience with frameworks like Spring Boot or similar. Extensive expertise in frontend development with Next.js, including experience with server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and performance optimization. Strong knowledge of software architecture and design principles (microservices, domain-driven design). Experience with relational and non-relational databases. Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and test-driven development (TDD). Knowledge of cloud infrastructure with AWS.

Ability to manage and balance technical and strategic priorities. Fluent in English with exceptional communication skills. The ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience: Proven track record in a similar technical leadership role. Experience in defining and reviewing software architecture for complex projects. Experience in projects involving mobile development (hybrid or native) is a plus. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
