Join the caravan! Station 2: Practical IoT workshop with Python and AWS.

Have you ever wondered how IoT devices are monitored? What are the protocols and technologies behind smart devices?

Join us in this practical workshop led by Felipe Arcos, where we will experience connecting a device to the AWS IoT cloud, identify the minimum configurations required to connect a device in AWS IoT, and learn the Python code necessary to consume IoT connection libraries.

Requirements:

• For software developers, solution architects, and technology enthusiasts who enjoy programming and are interested in IoT technologies.
• Experience programming in Python
• Preferably have knowledge of the AWS console and an enabled account (otherwise, an account will be provided for the exercises)
• Laptop with Windows, preferably with Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) version 2 and Python 3.8 or higher installed.

About the Speaker:
Felipe Arcos is a software developer with 25 years of experience. Passionate about programming since his university days, he has worked with a wide range of programming languages and holds certifications in various areas, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate. Outside the world of technology, he enjoys practicing Crossfit.
