ASAP is hiring an **AI Engineer for a short-term project for a US fintech company.

The role is open to full-time or part-time.**

What we're looking for
An engineer with a strong backend foundation who's already exploring — or mastering — the world of autonomous agents, LLMs, and vector databases. We value elegant solutions, scalable systems, and the ability to collaborate across disciplines.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience (preferably with Python).
• Experience creating workflows using AI agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI).
• Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, etc.).
• Experience using vector databases and embeddings for tasks like semantic search or retrieval-augmented generation.
• Strong English communication skills — both spoken and written.
• Experimental mindset and ability to iterate quickly.

What you’ll do

• Design and build AI-powered systems using LLMs, autonomous agents, and retrieval-based architectures.
• Rapidly prototype and test ideas, then bring the best ones to production.
• Collaborate closely with product, data, and strategy teams to solve real-world challenges with AI.
• Stay up to date with the fast-moving AI ecosystem and bring new ideas into our work.
